The third-ranked Georgia football team practiced for more than two hours in full pads on Tuesday afternoon in preparation for Saturday’s showdown with Georgia Tech.
“It was another good day of practice," said coach Mark Richt. "I thought the scout team did a good job. They did as well as they could out there today. We are getting better.”
Georgia’s senior class will be honored prior to the game on Saturday.
It was also announced on Tuesday that Jarvis Jones has been named a finalist for the Butkus Award. The junior from Columbus is ranked first nationally in fumbles forced and second in tackles for loss and sacks.
The lone change from Monday’s injury report was that freshman tailback Keith Marshall has a right shoulder contusion and participated in practice on a limited basis.
