Tuesday Practice Report

FOOTBALL

Chilly conditions produced a crisp practice for fifth-ranked Georgia on Tuesday. The Dawgs (8-1, 6-1 SEC) worked out for more than two hours in full pads, their most physical session in preparation for this Saturday's game at Auburn (2-7, 0-6 SEC).

"I thought it was pretty good," coach Mark Richt said. "I don't know if it was the cold weather or what, but everyone moved around quick. They looked like they were trying to stay warm, but it worked out to our advantage. I thought the scout teamers tried their best. It was a good day."

Tuesday's practice ended under the lights at UGA's Woodruff Practice Fields with temperatures dipping into the 40s.

The lone change to Georgia's injury report from Monday was that wide receiver Michael Erdman, who has missed the last three games with a foot injury, participated in practice on a limited basis on Tuesday.
