Tuesday Practice Report

FOOTBALL

The Georgia football team continued preparations for Saturday’s home game against Georgia Southern with a two-hour workout at the Woodruff Practice Fields Tuesday. It was the second straight day the Dawgs practiced in full pads.

“It was a good day,” coach Mark Richt said. “I thought the scout team so far is really giving good effort trying to give us the best look we can get. It’s going to be tough to get it just right.”

There were no new players added to Tuesday's injury report.

This will be the fifth all-time meeting between Georgia and Georgia Southern, with the Dawgs winning all four previous games. The teams have meet every four years since the 2000 season.
