ranks among the national leaders in tackles per game. He is averaging 12.4 tackles, which ranks third in NCAA FCS. The ISU defense has forced nine turnovers in the last two games. Basim Hudeen, Leki Fuapau, Justin Vae’ena and Jacob Hutton all recovered fumbles. Hudeen and Chris Holmesly had a career-high in tackles as Hudeen has 15 with one tackle for loss, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. Holmesly had 14 tackles with one forced fumble.

What To Look For When Idaho State Has The Ball

The ISU offense had 189 yards of total offense last week. Russel Hill was 13-for-23
with two touchdowns and 175 yards passing. Kelvin Krosch caught four passes for 46
yards and one touchdown while Tavoy Moore caught four passes for 34 yards. Rodrick Rumble had three passes for 22 yards while Hutton and Josh Hill each caught a pass. Hill’s reception was a 34-yard touchdown catch.

Thanks to 5.5 sacks in his last four games, junior OLB Justin Houston remains the SEC leader with 9.0 and was named the SEC Defensive Player of the Week following his performance against UK. Houston also has the most sacks and tackles for loss of any active SEC player. Akeem Dent has registered 10 or more tackles in five out of the last six games and has led Georgia in tackles during five of those contests. He managed a career high 15 stops at Kentucky and is second in the league with 90 stops. DeAngelo Tyson has started eight games at nose for Georgia this season. He posted a career-high five tackles against UK, including half a sack.

Special Teams

With 22 kickoff return yards against Idaho State, junior CB Brandon Boykin will set a
Georgia record for KOR yardage in a career. Boykin stands at 1,616 yards on 60 returns thanks in part to an SEC-record three 100-yard returns in his career. In addition to five tackles and the first sack of his career versus the Gators, Boykin piled up 111 return yards. His performance was highlighted by a 51-yard return in the fourth quarter that set up the Dawgs’ final touchdown and helped send the game to overtime.

Tavoy Moore broke his own school record for all-purpose yards in a game after tallying 323 against No. 12 Montana on Oct. 9. He became only the third player in Idaho State history to return a kickoff for 100-yards, and he also scampered 84 yards for a touchdown on a punt return later in the contest. He ranks among the NCAA FCS leaders in punt return average (20.2) and all-purpose yards (192.0).
