Freshman safety Alec Ogletree has been suspended for the Dawgs opener against Louisiana-Lafayette following his arrest for the theft of a scooter helmet.
The theft occurred on June 15th at the Ramsey Smith Academic Center.
Ogletree was in possession of the helmet when interviewed by police on Wednesday. The helmet was reported stolen by a member of the UGA track team.
Ogletree becomes the ninth Dawg arrested this year, he joins Washaun Ealey and Tavares King on the suspended list for UL-L.
