The Georgia football team began preparations for its second non-conference game of the season with a 90-minute workout on the Woodruff Practice Fields.
The No. 7 Dawgs are off to a 2-0 start, including a 1-0 mark in the SEC, following Saturday's victory at Missouri. This Saturday, the Dawgs will entertain Florida Atlantic (1-1, 0-1 Sun Belt) in a 7:30 p.m. contest at Sanford Stadium. The game, which marks the first matchup of the two teams, will be televised by CSS.
"Today was really good," linebacker Christian Robinson said. "We're happy about what we did at Missouri, but we need to get redirected on what's important now, and that's this week's game. We're excited for it; it's another home game and I'm sure the fans are excited to have us back. … We have to stay energetic and keep that same level of intensity we had against Missouri."
"We need to stay focused," nose John Jenkins said. "We're not taking any team lightly. As long as we stay focused and do what we're supposed to do, the momentum will stay there."
