Weather played a major role in the latter portion of No.7 Georgia's (1-0, 0-0 SEC) practice on Tuesday. Threatening skies gave way to a torrential downpour about 90 minutes in to the scheduled two-and-a-half-hour session. Approximately 10 minutes later, a loud clap of thunder forced the Dawgs to complete the workout inside in their multi-purpose FieldTurf facility.
"It started out pretty good, but then the rain came hard and we had a lightning strike so we had to finish inside," coach Mark Richt said. "We made the best of it."
