Knee Injury Ends Brown’s UGA Career

DSC_5372University of Georgia senior wide receiver Marlon Brown from Memphis, Tennessee, sustained an injury to his left knee anterior cruciate ligament during Saturday’s game against Ole Miss.

The injury was confirmed by an MRI Saturday night. He will undergo surgery by team orthopedic surgeons at a yet-to-be determined date.

Although the injury will effectively end his playing career at Georgia, a full recovery is anticipated that will enable him to continue his career in the future according to UGA Director of Sports Medicine Ron Courson.
