The Georgia men’s basketball team will host Florida A&M this Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at Stegeman Coliseum.
The game replaces the Dawgs’ contest originally scheduled with Gardner-Webb that was cancelled yesterday due to COVID-related issues with the Runnin’ Bulldogs. Sunday’s game will be televised on the SEC Network.
“While we were disappointed the Gardner-Webb game was cancelled, we’re excited to have the opportunity to play Florida A&M,” head coach Tom Crean said. “Like I’ve said numerous times, we have to be prepared to adapt and make sure that we’re ready in every possible way for what’s next on a day-by-day basis...and then be flexible and adjust if something else changes.”
Tickets for the Gardner-Webb game that have already been distributed will be honored for the Florida A&M contest. All tickets for the 2020-21 season will be distributed digitally.
Georgia will open the season on Wednesday night when the Dawgs host Columbus State at 5:00 p.m. at Stegeman Coliseum.
